Ah yes I see, I think they were looking at the Autumn 2020 prices which apparently are expensive!

I only booked my flight about a month ago

My return flight from Murcia to lgw was only £20.62. Flying on 16th July with easy

That was a real bargain. I think part of the problem they have with Spain at the moment is that the country is not completely out of lock-down and the whole point of visiting the country is to go out for meals/beaches/bars and generally have a mooch about - if there are still restrictions in place in doing all of the above then there is no point - they might just as well stay at home and put up with the same restrictions here (and enjoy the wonderful weather we're have at the moment) I haven't spoken to them recently but I would think that the earliest they would venture out there would be next year and wait for all this to settle down (provided of course a second wave doesn't hit Spain!)

Let me know how you get on with restrictions at the airport and on the plane when you fly in July, I may venture out myself later on during the year, a lot can happen in a couple of months.....

Well I arrived at my villa at camposol last Sunday, the weather is 35c, all the bars and cafes are open, when going into shops, you wear a mask. Keep your distance, and use hand sanitizers, Beach had people on but only a few, not like the idiots who did not give a toss about their or anyone else’s safety, so tomorrow I am going for a swim, also got a haircut Monday feel great, so glad I came over,
