Hi, hoping to move to Cartagena and surrounding area. Would like some advice and information. We are having a look around in May but want to know if certain areas are like ghost towns in winter months or are less/more reliant on tourism. We want somewhere that's not too hectic but not deathly quiet.

Most of the beach towns from Los Nietos, up La Manga are ghost towns in winter and not really that much in summer.
Maybe try San Pedro up to Torrevieja?
An Airbnb for a few weeks while looking for a place, with a car?
PS. Parking in Cartagena is a bit of a nightmare so an underground car park and walk a few miles.
