Hi Jake,
I'm going to assume that you are a stranger to the town and will arrive by car via the RM15 from the direction of Murcia city, coming off at the first exit for Cehegin.
At the roundabout with the big cross on it, turn left towards the town centre, shortly on your left will be a petrol station. They have a small Dia supermarket inside, you should be able to buy the basics there. We think they are 24 hour, we're not sure what time they close the doors and just have the window open but they would probably serve you bread/milk if you try on Saturday night. If not, they will be fully open on Sunday morning. Past the garage on the RHS is Mercadona supermarket, they will reopen at 09:15 on Monday morning.
There is a shop selling sweets and snacks at the top of the Gran Via by the big fountain, they're usually open late at night and 7 days a week. There is a great bakery on the RHS as you go down the Gran Via, they will be open on Sunday morning.
Most bars will be open on Sunday, Evalo's on the RHS in the Gran Via will do burgers, chips, lovely chicken wings and other stuff on the counter. Opposite is Lucio's restaurant, slightly more expensive but with a menu in Spanish and English. Further down the Gran Via, turn immediately before the park on the right and there is a bar a little way up there on the RHS with a children's playground next to it. They do mainly tapas, they used to sell pizzas, not sure if they still do. Right at the bottom of the Gran Via by the mini roundabout there is a bar, can't remember the name, they do nice food and should be open on Sunday.
There are some tiny shops open on Sundays within the residential areas of the town which only the locals know! I can't help you there as we live out of town but if you are renting a house within the town, the owner may be able to guide you.
Have a great week.
