Hi everyone.
Hope its not been to hot for you.
My question is, if you own a spanish and English property, how does it affect your will, also what are the tax implications in either country if you do.
And does being married or partners have any bearing on the outcome of such a thing.

Spanish laws of inheritance are very different to British ones. It is vital to have a Spanish will, saying that UK inheritance laws must apply. Any competent gestor or abogado should be able to draw ones up and it should not cost a lot on money. No doubt someone on here will be able to suggest names of who they have used (we did ours years ago in Malaga province).
