Car hire at new airport

Yes agree the car rental prices have certainly shot up and increased 

for San Javier days.

We are  booked to fly out and stay at our property on the 12th April 

I know it is the Easter period and demand is probably high but in comparing

my car rental cost last year for the same period I estimate a £70 - £90 increase

for two weeks hire of a medium vehicle. 

No reasons are given for the increases unless the new airport charges for the 

rental companies to be on-site have rocketed

We always use Centauro. Their service is terrific and their cars brand new. We are going on Tuesday, the car has cost us £32 for 11 days and our next trip in May booked just a week ago, is costing us £40 for 10 days, so I can't see that they've gone up at all. We wouldn't use anyone else.

I have looked at centauro but it's more expensive than you are getting it for. Maybe it's because we are travelling in 2 weeks but quote is £230 28th Feb till 19th March, on a full full no extra insurance. Anyone recommend anyone else, but if this is the new prices then we will have to go with it, we have our own insurance. Thanks

I don't understand. For my own satisfaction I've just put in our dates, 26th of Feb to 9th of March and it comes up €87. I would check again.
