Hi,  my daughter recently went into the cajamar bank in Sucina although she can speak some Spanish she still didn’t understand all what was being said . So, she used Google translate and that worked fine.  Good luck !  Prte

Hi I think you should find someone there that speaks a little English.

One thing I would ask have they opened a Wefferent account for you which is free of fees and an online account or a cooperative account which will encounter either monthly or quarterly fees.

By the way never be frightened trying a little Spanish.

Re speaking Spanish: if you don’t try you never will!

Work out how you would ask in English, keep it simple, then type it into Google translate. You can get the app to speak the result in Spanish, and this can be a start on your road to knowing how to pronounce words and phrases.

For example: Good morning. I have come to collect my debit card. My name is xxxxxxx, account number xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.      

Buenos días.  He venido a recoger mi tarjeta de débito.  Mi nombre es xxxxxxx, número de cuenta xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

 I love languages .  I always try and learn some of  the language where I am in the world.  Its out of respect and it’s a massive confidence booster.  I feel the British are lazy regarding learning languages.  Just give it a go!
