John .. condado. Just as a guide only. Im looking for  opinions on when will we be allowed back over as i was going to come out to live after Christmas.  But ive given myself till this time next year as the mixed messages coming out of the government here leaves you no nearer answering any questions asked. Has the spanish government been any clearer?? At least you had a proper lockdown.  Even if we had one now that ship has sailed. As london didn't join in till week 4. So its all a  will we wont maybe any information from spain will be much appreciated

I have just had another flight cancelled for 8th May. We have flights booked end of May and are meant to move over in July. I think it will just be a waiting game. Main priority is health and keeping safe at the moment for us. We are seeing it as a postponement and not a cancellation. We might not move in July but it will happen. Everything is so up in the air at the moment. Only time will tell what it will do to the economy, taxes etc. Luckily my private pension seems ok.

Why would you want to jump out the frying pan into the fire ...it is well documented that the Spanish NHS just can't cope with Covid 19 due to a lack of Doctors & Nurses .. Spain at the moment is virtually a police state ..I think personally like me you are better off in the UK at the moment...as far as being able to travel again to Spain is concerned if you read all the news reports this will not happen until the end of August....and even if they do lift restrictions Covid 19 will still be about until a cure has been found ...stay home stay safe.

I would also think that air travel will be one of the last things to be allowed to happen.

At present best stay where you are safe

Though no where is 100% safe but moving about is the worst thing but the situation here I do not see changing until September as a sudden influx of people would be bad wherever you are

Some people are under the misguided illusion that if they have been informed of a flight postponement that they will be starting back up soon ...this is a ploy used by the travel company's..as they don't need to give you a refund ...if your flights are cancelled then you are due a immediate refund...the only people that can say for sure when you can fly again is the various governments that controls the air space.

Read my post I said Spain is (virtually ) a police state...I think the word VIRTUALLY explains the Spanish lock down very well don't you...how would you like to explained the current situation to anyone ( I TAKE IT YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT HOW A COUNTRY IS KEPT UNDER CONTROLLED IN A POLICE STATE.) you also asked if I have ever stayed in a police state before you ..... the answer to this question is yes I spent 6 weeks in Bulgaria in 1972 ..the key board is yours fire away.
