With the Brexit agreement, the UK asked for British passport holders to be treated as third-country nationals by the European Union. If you are staying privately then you should have an invitation letter from your host.

Has anyone had to complete a letter of invitation?

If so how do you go about doing this?

I have a holiday home in La Torre and my family are coming to visit in August

Thanks

Catriona

It isn't necessary for UK tourists visiting family members etc. to be given a Carta de Invitación. There was a thread on this yesterday on the Citizens' Advice Bureau Spain's Facebook group. On Friday 29th July at 11.30 a.m., Myra Cecilia Azzopardi from the Citizens' Advice Bureau Spain, will be speaking on TRE (Talk Radio Europe) about this subject, as well as the latest updates on the driving licence situation.
