Good morning. I am begging for help please. Ryanair have changed the time of my arrival in to England until 13.15 on 10 May .

I had an Antigen test booked for 13.00 hours on Friday 7 May but am worried now the timing will be out and I won’t be allowed to fly.

My test is in Laboratorio Munuera and this shuts at 3 pm.

Does anyone know of somewhere near Los Alcázares that can do the test later or are open on a Saturday.

Thank you

Danni

Fast Test PCR Laboratory At Departures In Alicante-Elche Airport

On-site Covid-19 tests are scheduled to start in May 2021 for departing passengers.

It doesn't specify which day in May. Check it out for yourself. Google the heading above in red.  Do your research. Best wishes.

Hi Danni not sure about LA but we had ours done at the IMED hospital in Murcia City right next to the big Leroy Merlin. You can book online and check the times etc. They were very good and we had results in 10 minutes.

Check UK still takes antigen test

This is Murcia venue but they have other venues check out

To translate into ENGLISH

Go onto the website in chrome browser and then right-click the mouse and click translate to English

Cost me under £18

I have had my test 20 euros at the end of January and my husband end March 2021 for rapid antigen test (waited 5 mins collect on day)

Meets more than governments rates

It is

For the antigen test

The test has a sensitivity of 95.4% (our government's requirement 80%)

and a specificity of 100% (our government's requirement 97%)

with accuracy of 98.91%

https://cardiosalus.com/prueba-covid-murcia/

Easy to book online a test with lots of times to choose from.

Once I have landed in the UK and got through with this test will let you know all OK

back in uk ok

Yes went from Alicante airport at the checking in desk they wrote in the boarding pass.  PCR Ok

At Gatwick airport at border control checked my antigen test and let me through and my husband for the same test 2 months later

So the 20 euro (£17.29) antigen test worked. All ok

DO NOT OVER PAY for PCR test

My husband and I have spent so much money just on PCR's over cost over €100 each. I've asked for TMA & LAMP test added per Spain's requirements. No lab seems to have heard of these. I have even shown them the literal spelling of both tests. Every testing lab I've gone to promotes  the expensive PCR route! Returning to Spain in 2 weeks. Do you know if the Antigen test mentioned's good enough for Spain's requirements?? Big  Thanks!

Same here I’ve only used antigen tests from Spain to UK. The official UK GOV website mentions the antigen test so don’t understand why no one knows about it. Antigen tests are widely available in Spain but you would need to check the official Spanish website for required tests from UK to Spain.

Yep just looked at the Spanish Gov website. PCR looks like the safest bet. Bit daft considering you only need antigen to travel to England.
