Yesterday India achieved 100 million vaccinations in 85 days. That's the fastest rate worldwide. Hopefully they will get it under control if they can carry on at that rate. The population is over 1 billion people though.

I agree, this is indeed a world problem. Not just India but Brazil as well. These countries cannot cope with the over whelming number ofcases of Covid 19.

This is a pandemic that involves everyone of us, so these countries need any help they can get from the rest of the world.

Today sadly India up by another 30,000 this could wipe out a nations reserves and leave them with nothing to fight with

Not that I disagree with the consensus but things like this need balancing out

India is the worlds fifth richest economy, surely they should direct their own money to those most impoverished than rely on the Western World and having us believe they are poor, they have a space programme after all

Secondly, it was reported today on skynews that as many as 150,000,000 (thats million) people will descend on a temple for a religious festival, pictures today were shown there with no masks and no social distancing in place

Thirdly, the recent India v England cricket series allowed circa 50,000 spectators into the ground to watch when clearly this is not under control in their country, why would they do this if they cared?

Whilst I am all for helping people, they need to want to be helped in the first instance and India (as lovely as they are) have the capabilities to help themselves first and choose not to by lifting restrictions

I think 100,000,000 (thats million) vaccines in 85 days proves they have the infrastructure to handle things when they choose to do so

Now, how is the weather in southern spain, fingers crossed we all get to use this forum for holidaying tips moving forward and not how we can bail out the fifth richest country in the world

Have a spectacular evening everyone

Kindest regards
