What test do I need to fly back to Spain

You need to provide a little more information before anyone can even attempt to answer your queries...

Where are you flying from? (Can’t expect that anyone knows that information)...and this information is vital before knowing if you need a test.

If you decide to fly before your 2nd vaccine jab (IMO I would think this is madness if you have only to wait a few weeks to become fully vaccinated) are you taking an unnecessary risk, I would ask is that a risk you can avoid.....but of course your decision...

You don't need any test just a locator form. Going to uk you will need a negative antigen test taken 72 hours before you fly book day 2 and 8 pcr test before flying to uk locator form and self  isolate for 10 days or pay to release on day 5

What is required when flying from Ireland to Spain?

I believe that you need a negative PCR test result (taken within 48 hrs of travelling) and you have to complete the Passanger Locator Form. Whichever airline you are flying with will have all of the information you need. But please do your own research. 

From July 19th if you are fully vaccinated you can travel to Spain without a PCR test.

If you're returning from the UK you need, as a matter of urgency, to read the Gov.uk - Spain. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain There may have been changes to this since I arrived here so make sure you're reading the latest update. You also need to download the NHS app which includes results of the tests you've taken and a record of both your jabs. You can request paper versions of this if you don't want to use your mobile phone - that's what I did and it went very smoothly.This has to be available for checking at the airport when you arrive in Spain. I've been here some weeks now so you may receive more up to date information from other people. It's tedious but necessary. 

Thanks for that but I can't see that anything has changed and you just need to locator form unless I am missing something?

Sunnyspain, that is correct as of now all that is required for you to fly back to Spain is the Passenger Locator Form.

In the link above you can sign up for UK Gov alerts about any changes that may occur and you will be notified in real time of changes to the travel restrictions/requirements….this might be a better solution to asking on the forum as here you are relying on people to 1 know and 2 read your post and reply in time…..always better to be in control yourself.
