"I have been informed"

That phrase again! If someone "informs" you, ask them where the information came from and check it before spreading it around.

I imagine that it is a bit early for the Spanish government to decide whether the lockdown needs to continue beyond 12th April. Realistically, unless the numbers of cases/deaths start to decrease, which they are not yet doing, I think another extension of the lockdown is inevitable. That's just my personal opinion though.

Hi Kaili.  I was informed of thos by 2 local residents.  I couldn't find any news myself so just wondered if anyone else heard.  I agree with you I seems a bit early.  Thanks for reply

Elsewhere on this forum I have read that the Spanish government are likely to make a decision on 7/8 April whether to extend the lockdown.

They should surely extend it well beyond Semana Santa - but the need to put effective roadblocks on the road to La Manga - local residents are reporting heavy traffic heading that way.

Thanks Peter. Fully agree.  If that's the case it's certainly not helping the situation.

Regarding my question re extension to lockdown,. I heard from a couple of locals that it had been extended but couldn't find any reference to it myself so turned to the forum.  Thanks for reply
