Hi All,
We are Mike and Di Plumb, retirees, new to the area, planning to spend most of Uk winter in San Pedro. We have recently bought an apartment in San Pedro, just LOVE it.
Would like to know if there is a public heated swimming pool in the area.
Also, are there any ladies playing bridge or any other card games in the area.

Hi Di, welcome to San Pedro! There is a large municipal pool on Pilar de la Horadada opposite the Mercadona. You just register and then pay as you go. I think its €4 per 1 hour visit. There is one in San Pedro also but my husband found it diffucult to find and it wasn't as good. Hope you find a pool that suits you, all the best, Yvonne

Horadada public heated pool ( opposite Macedonia). It costs 2.50 euros. for an hour and children 1.50 euro. Not a place for the family for a day. Very nice facility. Thanks.

Hi Diane, Thank you for responding. I was looking for a website to post a link but hit a brick wall. You are right that it's not really a leisure pool, more for lane swimming on a 1 hourly slot basis and swimming lessons in the smaller pool. Excellent facilities though.
