Is there British ex pat meeting places and venues

Considering EL ALgar to purchase a retirement home is there meetin places and venues to meet fellow Brits ?

We lived in El Algar for nearly 4 years and although there are quite a lot of Brits about, there didn't seem to be any particular place for meeting up etc but you do run into each other all the time, especially if it's in the Granados area. A typical Spanish village where the locals are very friendly.

I’m hoping to arrange something. Thinking coffee, tapas chat etc.
As someday has already mentioned, there are plenty of brits here. Would be so great to arrange a weekly meet.

In Los Alcazares is a coffee moring every Monday (11 am-ish) in the Garden Caffee......
You find the venue if you turn left at the roundabout where the Hotel 525 is, approx 500 meter on your left.
