Good morning

I am looking to replace four sets of shutters and have a very high quote. I am therefore looking for a more competitive price. I can have dark pvc or aluminium.

Can you please recommend a good competitive company please.

Thanks

Sue

Hi Sue

Personally I've never seen shutter's spare parts in a ferreteria , but you can give it a try.

We had our shutters replaced by new ones.

David can give you a quote for new ones if you like, but he will not do repairs. You can contact him directly.

Kind regards

Joelle.

Well one got damaged in the last storm and they are old so thought we would replace them. However that depends on the price.

You should make it clear what you mean by "shutters" - there is a vast difference between the wooden shutter doors over the windows and the roller Persianas. Take a photo on your phone of you want replaced and it will help - show the pics face-to-face or email them.

We have just heard of someone getting a price for replacement window/mosquitera units from a big company (British-run) of 12,500 Euros. A local Spanish craftsman has quoted 6500 for the identical specification. In general I would always use Spanish firms.
