Just moved into El Camoli need quotes

Just moved into a villa with smart meter and we are struggling to boil a kettle as it trips the meter out. We are only here for a week so want to get it done asap before we return at Xmas.

Any help much appreciated

Try turning off other electrical items one at a time while you boil the kettle and see if that helps.

If you turn off heaters and don't have things like washing machine on, does it still trip out? That's a good test.

Hi Jan Yes it does trip back in after turning everything off, but we need to have the upgrade on the power supply as want air con units fitted

Check your kettle. Most/all Spanish kettles are 1Kw. Most UK kettles are about 3Kw. Obviously the 3Kw kettles take 3x''s the current of the 1Kw. Just need patience waiting longer for the 1Kw to boil. Could be worth changing to 1Kw if that is the case.
