You could go to the IMed hospital in Murcia near the shops. Just Google it for exact location. It’s very near the big Leroy Merlin. They do Antigen tests for €40 which is acceptable for travel to England.

To translate into ENGLISH

Go onto the website in chrome browser and then right-click the mouse and click translate to English

Cost me under £18

I have had my test 20 euros at the end of January for rapid antigen test (waited 5 mins collect on day)

Meets more than governments rates

It is

For the antigen test

The test has a sensitivity of 95.4% (our government's requirement 80%)

and a specificity of 100% (our government's requirement 97%)

with accuracy of 98.91%

https://cardiosalus.com/prueba-covid-murcia/

Easy to book online a test with lots of times to choose from.

Once I have landed in the UK and got through with this test will let you know all OK

back in uk ok

Yes went from Alicante airport at the checking in desk they wrote in the boarding pass.  PCR Ok

At Gatwick airport at border control checked my antigen test and let me through

So the 20 euro antigen test worked.

NOT OVER PAY

Has anyone gone through the rigmarole of completing the Passenger Locator Form and getting tests done on Days 2 and 8 after returning to the UK?  Where did you book your tests, how did you find out who would do the tests for you and how much did they cost? Thanks.

Hi we are travelling back on the 21/5. We have booked our antigen test with cardio salus has suggested above and we have booked day 2 and 8 with Randox because we are flying with Ryanair, it’s half price. Obviously it’s all expensive but it’s how desperate you are to get back to UK and your reasons to go back. The Randox tests are £60 each and there are drop off boxes around the UK. Hope that helps. Thanks to everyone for advice on this forum, it all helps to make decisions.

Thank you for that. I have also read that there is a further hoop to jump through when returning to Spain, with the FCS form. Apparently you can’t get through arrivals without this. Found it on www.spth.gob.es

Has anyone else gone though this process?

Yes we have done that before, don’t worry. It’s just like the passenger locator form for going back toUK. it has a QRcode and that is scanned when you return. So either keep it on your phone or print off before you return. Complete 2 days before you return, that’s not a new thing. Hope that helps

Great news. Let’s hope all this checking can be over and done with soon. Thanks for your comments.

Hi we had the antigen test at the private medical center Camposol A, it cost 40 euros, no probs. Sounds expensive but easier to have there than have to travel somewhere you don’t know. Went in and booked appointment for Thursday am and travelled back Friday. Waiting 15 mins for result and given certificate to travel back. Showed at Alicante airport, no problems. Hope that helps
