Hi guys

I am looking to buy a property in/near Fortuna, can you pleas point me in the right direction now Brexit has taken place.

I want it has a holiday home initially but would like to move in to retire there in the near future.

Could you please let me know the procedure for buying, the pitfalls I may encounter and suggestions for an English speaking lawyer/solicitor I may use for the purchase.

Thank you and looking forward to getting the property and meeting you all.

Pete & Wend :)

If you want to buy a home to retire to in the near future, I suggest you satisfy yourselves that you meet the criteria for the (post-Brexit) Non-Lucrative Visas.

Details on the link below. The thread goes on a bit ... so, the key point is that you need an income of 33K Euros/year for a couple.

Spanish Consulate Update - application and income requirements, post Brexit - confirmation, Non-Lucrative Visa.
