can anyone give me some details on what Fortuna is like?

I have seen several houses in Las Kalandas, just outside Fortuna and was wondering if anyone can tell me what its like? I will be on my own to need to make friends. There are several other places I want to visit too like the Hondon Valley and Balsicas so until I have seen these places I can't decide I don't want a property that is isolated but would like a detached property with little garden and pool.
The other question is I have been trying to get information of what taxes I will have to pay of a monthly/yearly basis like household insurance ,property tax, rubbish, on a 3 bed detached house, really all things I will need to budget for so if anyone can help I will be extremely grateful.
