Hi

We are relocating to Spain later in the year and have to have Health Care cover in place before moving and obtaining our NLV.

Can anyone recommend a good health care company?  I have sent a few emails off to various companies and am waiting on their replies.  We are both in good health, I am diabetic Type 2, controlled with tablets and in contact with my Doctor and diabetic clinic nurse.  No other health issues.

I've read that it can be quite expensive.....

Thanks for any recommendations.

Liz :-)

I can recommend Alfonso at Gran Alicant Insurances. He helped us to obtain our PMI and has proved very helpful since.

We used Sanitas (part of the BUPA group) and pay approx. £1,200 pa for two people (aged 51 & 49, no pre-existing conditions).

I have also seen DKV being recommended.

It's worth shopping around, as we had quotes as high as £6,000 pa.

Hope this helps...
