Hello my wife and I are just competing on the purchase of a house in los alemanes Fortuna. It’s just off the main pinoso road near to Tina’s bar we will be moving from our apartment in Hurchillo hopefully Mid February hope to meet some new friends and explore the area a bit more with our 2 beagles so if you see us out and about say hello

Hi, I am renting an apartment till March in Nueva Ribera, Los Alcazares, next to the Spinoza bar. I have my very elderly dog with me. I am looking at properties to buy.
Is anybody else new and alone in the area?
My interests are dancing (sadly due to Covid not been possible) music of all styles from classical to reggae, politics and writing. I am an editor of an online UK paper.

Definitely. We were really lucky as the estate agent who sold us our place was very helpful and we are still friends with her. Ours is a holiday home.

Hi Alan and Kate,
I have just booked my flight back after finally getting my NLVisa. There are a few of us in and around Fortuna I am just the other side of The Puerta Grande Restaurant. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets in the area and the natives are always friendly.
Just send a message and there are plenty of us to show you around.
Good luck with the move.

Congratulations!
Donna and I have just this month completed our purchase, and will be driving across in late March, so it will be nice to meet with a few new friendly faces!
We are in Los Periquitos (across from the Hotel & petrol station) on the main road.
For the next few years it is our holiday home, with retirement in the not too distant future (we hope lol).

Husband and I are hoping to get back to Fortuna maybe middle of February. We are looking to get the ferry so we can bring our own car. Did it once and it was fine. Been checking the weather and temp just now not too bad for us. The worst time for us was in August. Just too hot to get out walking or even shopping. Hopefully a meet up will happen 😁 😐
