I’ve had good steak at El Tío del Cabañil just outside Fortuna—generous portions and friendly service. If you're ever in Bangkok and craving something totally different, I had a great experience with Contemporary Thai dining in Bangkok, which had bold flavors and cool presentation. But for a down-to-earth steak locally, that one spot really stood out.

Alonso's on the main street through Fortuna just before the traffic lights that lead to the main Church. Fabulous steaks.
