Looking for some advice, we have just started the NLV process from the UK (Edinburgh Consulate). I know that our criminal record check, medical certificate and marriage certificate all need to be apostilled and translated by sworn translator, but what other documents need translated? I'm wondering about bank statements, passport, health insurance document, and if they do, does it need done by a sworn translator? Thanks in advance.

Hello

We are just doing ours via Manchester, we sent our docs off yesterday for apostille, sworn trans.  Bank statements are not needed as we got this confirmed from the consulate by email.  Our appointment is the 11th July.

Any other questions we'd be happy to try help.

Thank you. We contacted the Consulate and were advised that it's only the ACRO check, medical certificate and marriage certificate that need apostilled and sworn translation.

Who are you using for health insurance?

Good stuff. We are using a broker someone mentioned on here who happened to be the cheapest. We are paying for two adults no pre existing around 1500. I'm sure you know to make sure your date of entry request matches the date the policy starts. Anyway, He's called Mark and his email is [email protected] he's very friendly and helpful I'm sure will assist you If you email him

Regards
