Wine Tour - Recommended
We bought a house here 3 years ago, and thanks to covid and inertia have only just ticked one of our 'to do' lists - enjoy a local wine tour. One of the factors putting us off was not being sure what we'd get, so posting this for anyone in same boat, as our tour was excellent and contained all the elements we wanted. The place was Bodegas Via Elena, 10km south of Jumilla. You get a guided (English) tour of vineyards, winery, 200 year old family house, and then wine tasting with food. Prices vary from 12 euros pp for just tapas, to 28 euros pp for 3 course lunch, and go higher with larger menus. We had a great time, interesting tour, charming guide, picturesque house and excellent lunch. Highly recommended.
