Hi just moved to Fuente 3 weeks ago from UK. Have a family of feral cats, 3 adults and 5 kittens, which are now growing up very quick. Will not be long before more kittens are being produced. Does anybody know of an organisation that could come and get them, neuter and release back into the wild somewhere else. Any information would be gratefully received. Many thanks, Carol

Seems you have 3 humane options here:             1. embrace the Spanish way and ignore them (or look after them yourselves after having them neutered of course). Notice how many hang around the cafes and restaurants waiting for gooey eyed tourists to feed them then sod off home and forget about them.

2. Look for local 'animal / pet care' organisations, or 'pets and animals' using the search engine on this forum.

3. Assuming you don't have a dog, otherwise that's problem solved unless the dog is scared of cats, then ask your neighbours if you can look after theirs for a couple of weeks.

Like most other countries that have a problem with these once domesticated cats but now dumped by selfish morons, Spain has a 'capture, neuter, release' programme in operation. I doubt very much they will relocate and pass the problem on to some other poor bugger!

Make sure you check none of the kits are trapped before you block any hiding places up though!!

On that note,I don't see many locals rushing to you to assist you Carol?!  Good luck and I'd be interested how you got on.🐱
