Try your local farmacias. The one in isla plana does an antigen which is acceptable for €30

Hi I'm after a bit of guidance, as the return to the UK from Spain appears to be a bit of a grey area.

So I'm planning on coming over to see my dad with my 2 boys hopefully on 23rd Aug. My eldest eldest I are both fully vaccinated so appreciate the 14 year old will need a pcr test to arrive in Spain amd both my eldest son and I will need out vaccine passports/certificates . Am I correct in understanding that it is just an antigen test we all need to have to return to the UK. If so how do I book that in advance from the UK as my dad is saying that there might night be slots available?

Where is this please? I don’t know Isla Plana. 

You will find it on Google maps. Have you tried to find one nearer to you? If not medical centre on camposol also do them

Not yet. We just arrived yesterday and planned to try the local ones. But several people suggested the Isla Plana one. 

Never thought of Google Maps, I prefer paper when possible 😂

We left Fuente Alamo on Monday and we had our Antigen test done at the Medical centre behind and  over the bridge from Mercadonna in the town, not the one opposite the supermarket, they only do PCR tests.

The cost of the antigen test was €30 and the   result certificate was printed within 20 minutes. 

…….sorry, forgot to add that you will need to go in and book an appointment a few days  ahead of time and you must take your passport with you!

Isla Plana is the next village after El Alamillo nr Puerto de Mazarron . I read that you can either telephone or email but you do need to book an appointment as they get very busy. The Pharmacist speaks good English. My family had the antigen test done. Given cert in and out in 5 mins . Good luck.
