Hi we have narrowed down our type of property that we are looking to buy and it would seem that we like the idea of a two bed two bath apartment on either Roda or Hacienda de Alamo Los Olivos.

Does anyone have anything positive or negative to say on either of the resorts.

I understand location wise Roda is nearer it’s just that hacienda seem better value.

Just wondered if anyone knew the reason why.

Thanks in anticipation

Rick

Hi, we have owned on HDA for 3 years, no regrets whatsoever! Build quality second to none and now have 4 restaurants a cafe,  a bar with many live acts and a sports bar on site. The hotel has been sold, and hopefully opening soon ( also the clubhouse for drinks and food) we have no regrets and have made many good friends.

Thanks for the reply, glad to hear that you love it, I must admit it does look nice. Are you on the Oasis side or Los Olivos?

We are on phase 2 in a villa but a number of friends live on El Oasis, Spanish Village and Los Olivios  all very happy with their purchases.. There are also paddel tennis and bowls groups along with a womens association and golf  groups for competitions etc if that’s your thing. Great community spirit.

Hello! We've just joined, as likewise we are currently looking at this area for a holiday home in the Winter (and potentially rent out over the hotter months) We're coming out late Feb - March for ten days to have a look around and view some flats. We just wanted to reach out and make contact with anyone that currently lives out there, or is in a similar situation, just to see what it's like :)

Many thanks! Sorry if I've posted in the wrong spot (not too tech-savvy!)

Anthony

Hi Mike

Had seen your post, wondered whether you have any hints or tips for a new buyer? Did you get a discount or any add ons with your purchase.  How do you find cost of living, fees etc any nuggets of info would be app

Cheers

Hello
We are considering buying a property on HDA but have concerns about transport networks as we would rather not buy a car! How do you folks find travelling about? thank

Hi We are looking at HDA and the villas etc to buy to live…and also other Golf communities.

I read that HDA has fly issues and weird smells 🤷‍♀️ and it being deserted of people and green pools!!

What are the positives and negatives and are the annual fees expensive on 2 bed/2 bathroom villas/?

I receive daily property updates from different areas but I think it’s best to get info from people who have/are experiencing daily life. Thsnkyou
