We are looking to visit later in the year to view properties to purchase
What resort complex (golf) is nearest to the beach-town
Also nice beach resorts where we could possibly look for a property
We have around £70000 to spend

Maybe try the Mar Menor golf course just outside Los Alcazares. Terrazas de la Torre and La Torre golf courses near Roldan and La Manga golf course.
You could definitely find a 2 bed on Terrazas de la Torre for the money you have to spend. It's a 20 minute drive inland from the sea

your budget probably wouldnt get you a property near the beach but a few minutes inland there are apartments on La Goleta outside Mar Menor Golf ..less than 10 mins drive to the beach. You can look at ours which we rent out for an idea....
