Covid tests

I can't advise re- Covid tests, however, have you already got residency or an acceptable visa that will ensure that Spain lets you in..?

we have no residency or visa's. We will be using the property as a holiday home. I have asked our Spanish solicitors to provide documentation as to why we are visiting Spain, they are based in Los Alcazres and they have told me that after the 17th of May you no longer need a reason to visit Spain. It's all a bit confusing 

That is incorrect.

Under the UK rules, you can travel, for example, to take any action involved in the selling or purchase of a property.

However, under current Spain rules, you can only enter from UK if you are a resident or at certain stages in the residency process.

Things may change, but this is the current situation and I haven't seen anything elsehwere to suggest that Spain is changing it's rules from 17th May.

Check out local farmacia as ours do the antigen which is acceptable for €30. If covid cases continue to decline Spain are considering allowing Brits into Spain from 20th May and without pcr test so keep an eye out for updates next week.
