If it's the Community Fees we Pay €419.75 per Quarter. But I believe not everyone pays the Same not sure how its Calculated whether it's the Type of apartment or how many properties are sold within the Block.

Hi Sorry we paid €450 per Quarter on Hacienda it did Jump by €100 from the year before. If Community fees increase you got no control of that it has to be paid. Then theres Gas,Water,Electric,Council tax,Non residents Tax or if resident that tax.If you purchase car Insurance,Tax,Mot,and costs if you leave it at airport. We only used ours as holiday home as still working so have just sold up.Thinking back now wish I just continued to rent instead of purchasing not just because of the costs but started to get sick going to same place. But that was our choice everyone is different.Alot to think about good luck.

We rented for about 4 years then decided to buy didnt mention rental of car if you dont buy then also need a WILL as things or different in Spain if dont have will doesnt necessarily go to partner if anything happens. In last few years we had a lot issues with our car,Cyclists went in to back of our  car police were called as person started to Damage car police fined me as said shouldnt be driving with licence which Gov site states can upto 6mth.Then Catalytic Convertor was Stolen when it was parked near Alicante airport on the parking Company premises and a nightmare trying to claim insurance took a year to get money back it ended going to courts. We had to file report of theft at police station police didnt want to know as couldnt speak Spanish. Then when we were there in October myself and Husband were passengers in sister in law car police were on roundabout they accused my husband of not having seat belt on which he 100% did issued us with €200 fine that made our minds up to go back to package holidays or renting. So have to have spare money for things like this.

Good morning. Signed a purchase contract in November 2022 for a new apartment under construction. September 2023 deed at the notary and sale paid. However, the surprise will come in December 2023. We receive a letter requesting that we pay common costs from May 2023. At that time, the swimming pool was still under construction, as were the communal areas. To top it all off, our apartment was not plastered. I can document all this if necessary. What is your opinion about that? It concerns a new building on the Roda SAN Javier border.

I think it’s calculated on your sq.mtrs and position.  Middle floors pay less than top and ground if ground floor have gardens.

TBA we were going to buy at HDA but the commitment of €2k a year in community fees ++ probably going up all the time was a deal breaker for us. €10k in 5 years in community charges alone.  All the golf resorts still need a lot spent on them so those fees will definitely rise.  I agree however that HDA is one of the better ones.
