Hello I've just bought a house in Isla Plana and coming to Spain at the begining of June.

When I return to England I will need a PCR test and certificate. Where can I get one please?

I can't advise re- Covid tests, however, have you already got residency or an acceptable visa that will ensure that Spain lets you in..?

Hi Its a holiday home so we will obey the 90/180 day rules. Though I'm hoping Spain follows other countries and applies 180/365.

Also my wife is Polish so I can stay longer if together. Rgds Kev

It's the June visit I was thinking of - currently only residents are allowed in and other EU citizens  - although that may change. You may also be allowed in as the husband of an EU citizen - I'm not sure how that works, but worth checking...

Thank you. Very good point. I was hoping Spain will make an announcement ahead of June!

I can join my wife an an EU Citizen and maybe as a property owner need to make an urgent visit (not holiday) they will let us in. However, the rules are rather difficult to follow.

Wow this would be brilliant news. I heard the Spanish Tourist minister suggest she will abolish entry requirements for UK citizens from 20th May which would make life easier for sure.

On return we need to quarantine for upto 10 days and take Day2 and Day 8 PCR tests. We can order these before we leave. Easy.

The worrying bit for us is the pre departure test in Spain. UK needs a certificate too. Do you know if they provide one?

Annoyingly they wont let us use the free NHS test kits we have here, and load onto the NHS website. Rgds Kev

You have made my day. My wife was so worried about getting the return test she was reluctant to go. Also at this end they are really taking the piss with the costs. Though they are coming down ie can now get D2 & D8 kit from Randox for £120.

Gracias for your help

You are more than welcome

We are desperate to fly to uk to see family. We are able as we have residencia here to get back but the pcr tests are so expensive and dont fancy isolating in a hotel room.

We have heard we will have our covid jab here next week
