I’m afraid the social club has been closed for a while and no sign of it opening. Most people socialize in the Anchor bar or La Maison

Yes the Anchor bar has a great mix of Spanish and expats. Mainly British and Irish. Often some music as the evening goes on. No problem with dogs as there are always people walking them on the beach. The beach at the village is the most popular. There are always fishermen on the rocks.

Social club is closed for a while now, new cafe opened on the left hand side when you coming from Mojon Hills, a bit further from the road just before new development. The bar is further down  the road almost opposite  the restaurant. Fish restaurant become very busy on the corner after social club shut down. So yes, there's still few eateries around, old restaurant on the left hand side when descending from the hill still there. The beach got signs no dogs. Dogs allowed further down towards L'Azohia.

I notice that the Spanish and indeed every one ignore most signs. There are always dogs on the beach behind the Main Street. They are always on leads and behave well

I walk the beach most days and always plenty of dogs being walked. I think there used to be a sign about having them on a lead but I can’t find any sign now at the beach entrance.
