Can anyone recommend an alarm for a private pool and also where to obtain one? Do they need to be professionally installed? Also approximate price.

Ha ha.

When activated it detects movement in the water which may indicate that a child (or adult) has fallen in accidentally and sounds a loud alarm in the house. Not a replacement for keeping an eye on your kids but a good back up.
