Hello all you lucky people in Spain. Happy Saturday.🪂🌞⛵

Just a general chat really I've been reading that the Mar Menor has been having some really bad weather in the past week. I know Mar De Cristal seam to get bad floods, this is one of my favorites also Los Alcazares is another of my favorites. So has the weather been really bad ?

Hope you all have a good weekend 🤗

Almost non-stop rain (our pool level increased by around 4 inches) - heavy and steady, but not torrential.

Some brown rain (Sahara dust), so the pools/gardens/cars are all dirty.

Some agricultural wash-off, limited flooding, lots of muddy residue on the roads, some damage to the roads.

Thanks Will. Sounds nasty what a shame. I'm out end of next month. Had my fair share of rain in UK so hope it clears up 👍

All the best C.

Hi Ian, you sound like a happy man which always lifts spirits so thank you.

Bad news and good news. Yes, there had been a lot of rain during March -  the worst rainfall in 70 years I read in the paper. The good news is that today, Sun. it was beautiful. I spent a lot of it cleaning up the Saharan sand it brought down.

Not sure if it's quite gone altogether though - I hear there is more up there but not as much or as constant as the last four weeks. Hope this helps

Well I'm since my last reply to you on March 26 I have to report that the rain has been on & off ever since, not heavy but not gone and I was wasting my time cleaning up;-(

. That's in San Pedro del Pinatar but over in Roda it was much the same. Sorry but surely it can't go on much longer. I'll let you know if it improves. It's become really depressing do we took ourselves out for a few drinks to avoid cabin fever. It worked too but a temporary solution. They're having lovely weather at home (Ireland) just to add insult to injury.Fingers crossed for your upcoming trip.

Thanks for that, very good of you to keep me up to date. We are in Somerset and the weather is pretty good, just chilly.

It's never a waste of time having a clean up, it's less to do next time 🤗

Well I hope it picks up for you 👍 Keep smiling 😎😇😉

I will, thanks. The heavens opened again as soon as I hit the Send button - just to spite me😟. Trying to look on the bright side but even that is hard work. Cheers:-)
