Am after a coffee table, wooden or glass. Any suggestions where to take a look within 30 miles of La manga del mar menor?

I would always try the local charity shops first, as I think new furniture generally is quite overpriced. Some good bargains to be had.

Many thanks. I can't say I'd recognise a charity shop over here - my Spanish is very poor. Any specific examples I should look at?

They are mainly English run, so you should have no trouble. Look for animal charities : Noah's arc. is one ,  AAR Andreas donkey charity is another. Cancer charities  MABS is one , and there are Spanish charities in the same vein. I believe there are a couple of English ones in San Javier on the outskirts as you enter from  La Manga direction.

Go to espacio Mediterraneo shopping centre on the outskirts of cartagena, there is a JYSK a masons du monde and other homeware places there. There is also an ikea collection point so you can order from ikea online and get it delivered there.
