Hi Gail, we live in La Tercia, the flats you are looking at are just up the road and visible from where we live.

They are legal builds with Habitation Licences.

They are well maintained, the President is a helpful man. They keep the pool in top condition.

The Town is considered well off in Spanish terms, the streets are cleaned and power washed every week. The drains are regularly flushed and the streetlamps are maintained, all unlike some areas.

The Spanish mix with the expats and share bingo, quiz nights, dancing at the Junta Centro Cafe in the town, about 100m from the apartments.

There is a Townhall,  Health Centre  with a resident Doctor (speaks English), Farmacia, Hairdresser, Spa Supermarket and a Tobacco shop where they sell many other things, stationary, photocopying, supplies etc.

There are three good Cafe Bars serving food, two within 100m of the apartments the third Cafe Bar  another run by the Council is a two minute walk.

These bars sell cheap well prepared tapas, snacks, meals and are regularly used by local Spanish and Ex - Pats alike.

I wonder sometimes how they make a profit as the prices they charge make cooking yourself unneccessary most of the time. We eat there every day as do many Spanish.

Everyone shares in the fiestas held in the Town Centre.

Next month there is the Giant Paella in the Town Square with live music and stalls,  raffles etc

This is a quiet retirement area where everyone looks out for each other. We have made friends with many locals already Spanish & Expats.

It is not a holiday resort.

The beaches are about 20 minutes away by car. There is a bus service a couple of times a day, but we have not used them.

The village is in the middle of farmland so has views to the mountains and is very quiet.

There is a tennis court available and the Towncentre has a large covered Sportsdrome (the envy of other local towns) with football, petanc, basketball, line dancing amd keep fit classes.

The property prices have fallen to their lowest and there are still bargains.

However since we bought our last October prices are increasing.

It is speculated that the new International Airport at Covera will eventually influence property prices as it gets busier, as it has done at other expanding airports.

Hi yes there are couple of bars and you can eat in one of them. There is a supermarket as well but not too many restaurants. For that you have to go to Susina where there are plenty of eating places and a church. It’s around 10 minutes drive from there.
