Check UK still takes antigen test

To translate into ENGLISH right click mouse

This is Murcia venue but they have other venues check out

Go onto the website in chrome browser and then right-click the mouse and click translate to English

Cost me under £18

I have had my test 20 euros at the end of January and my husband end March 2021 for rapid antigen test (waited 5 mins collect on day)

Meets more than governments rates

It is

For the antigen test

The test has a sensitivity of 95.4% (our government's requirement 80%)

and a specificity of 100% (our government's requirement 97%)

with accuracy of 98.91%

https://cardiosalus.com/prueba-covid-murcia/

Easy to book online a test with lots of times to choose from.

Once I have landed in the UK and got through with this test will let you know all OK

back in uk ok

Yes went from Alicante airport at the checking in desk they wrote in the boarding pass.  PCR Ok

At Gatwick airport at border control checked my antigen test and let me through and my husband for the same test 2 months later

So the 20 euro (£17.29) antigen test worked. All ok

My husband did same test in March and other in April 2021

DO NOT OVER PAY for PCR test

Has anyone flown back with Ryanair to the U.K. from Corvera? They seem to be a bit OTT about the type of test required and keen to refuse passage if the test isn’t one they like.  I know some have used the test from the Isla Plana farmacia. Does anyone know if this will satisfy the jobs worth’s at Ryanair?

Pleas note also that you MUST book your Day 2 and Day 8 tests before you leave Spain or you will be unable to complete the Locator form required by the airline to let you on the plane!  Very important.

Has anyone actually completed one of these Passenger Locator Forms yet? When it asks for Country of Issue when setting up the account, has anyone else found that there is no United Kingdom or Great Britain in the drop-down menu? What have people been putting? British Citizen(GBR)? Also, in the actual form for the journey, where do you put the details of the PCR Test that we have to have?  There doesn’t seem to be anywhere for this to go!!  It just asks for flight details and details of where you’re staying in the UK? Can anyone help with these questions, please?

Hi AnnieF

I put British Citizen.

I don’t think the form is for proving your test status, , flight carrier checks that, more to ensure that you have booked your day 2 and 8 tests in UK and that they can find you to check you are isolating.

EasyJet certainly accept a lateral flow/antigen test rather than the more costly PCR and it is easier to obtain at short notice. I got mine in San Javier on Monday morning and flew to UK Monday evening.

I have to say that I did find the locator form a little tedious to complete!!

Good luck

Bob

Hi Bob.

Thanks. I’ve actually seen that there is a further form to complete for the PLF but there’s nowhere on there, that I can see, that you confirm having booked and paid for a Day 2 & 8 test. Who did you use for your Day 2/8 tests and did they send you a reference number that you needed to put on the PLF?

Such a headache and not nearly clear enough on the gov.uk website 🙄.

Thanks.
