Hi Bob.

Thanks. I’ve actually seen that there is a further form to complete for the PLF but there’s nowhere on there, that I can see, that you confirm having booked and paid for a Day 2 & 8 test. Who did you use for your Day 2/8 tests and did they send you a reference number that you needed to pu...

...t on the PLF?

Such a headache and not nearly clear enough on the gov.uk website 🙄.

Thanks.

I have no idea what PLF is???  The only online form I filled in was the Passenger Locator form from UK  Governent I think.

The clinic give you a form to prove the test was carried out. Assume from La Tercia you will take RM1 down to SJ. When you exit the RM1 and cary on towards SJ you will come to a roundabout where you would normally turn left to go to Dos Mares Shopping Centre. Go straight over that roundabout onto the little cobbled road the goes to the right of the church (looks like a church!)  Carry on past the church and the clinic is on your right, probably 50 yards past the church. If you get to the central park, you have gone too far but on the corner next to the park is the Main Centro Medico Virgen de la Caridad MAIN CLINIC. You don't want this one, the one you want (sub clinic) is back up toward the church about 50 yards same side..

You will have to park in the side streets around there. I parked twice quite near the park (being re-landscaped at the moment)

In the sub clinic you will find a couple of receptionist who speak a little english but if you get the same "doctor" as me, she speaks pretty good english.. Take your passport in with you and you flight details as for some strange reason they asked the exact time of my flight!!!

And yes, when you book your tests they will give you a reference to put on the Passenger Locator Form. I used Randox via the Easyjet website, not sure if Ryanair get discounts there too. Should be no more than £120 inclusive for the 2/8 tests.  Good luck with packaging up the test kit when you take it. An additional label exists that has no explanation. I stuck it on the envelope to return my day 2 test. I think it is better for the Royal Mail than the pre applied label on the envelope. I stuck it alongside the existing label just in case LOL

Good Luck

Bob

Hi again.

I was actually wondering which company (in the UK, on the government approved list) you booked your Day 2 or 8 tests with, that you have to take in the UK? Not the pre-flight one.

Sorry to pester 😟. I can’t see anywhere on the PLF (Passenger Locator Form) to put in the ref number for the UK Day2/8 tests. I must be missing something but not sure what 🙄.

Just to add to the info here. Ryanair DO offer a discount with Randox (50%), but I think there are other companies whose prices are better even than the 50% discounted ones with Ryanair. Also, I only need a test for Day 2 as I’m returning before Day 8. That seems to be an option most companies haven’t considered!!

Hi AnnieF

I put British Citizen.

I don’t think the form is for proving your test status, , flight carrier checks that, more to ensure that you have booked your day 2 and 8 tests in UK and that they can find you to check you are isolating.

EasyJet certainly accept a lateral flow/antigen test rather than the more costly PCR and it is easier to obtain at short notice. I got mine in San Javier on Monday morning and flew to UK Monday evening.

I have to say that I did find the locator form a little tedious to complete!!

Good luck

Bob

Hi Bob. Did you return to Spain after your UK trip? If so, did you have to complete the FCS form (Spanish Passenger Locator Form) for entry back into Spain, even though they no longer require visitors to have a PCR test? Thanks.

I only came to Spain on 28th May and didn’t need a test but you still need to complete the Spanish Passenger Locator Form.  This is in case somebody on the plane subsequently tests positive.  That was a big worry for me because you could feasibly be made to isolate just before your return journey. Luckily I managed to leave on 7th June

Hmm. But are you allowed to travel when you are isolating ? I didn’t ask that, did I !! lol

I really hope that you can

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Thanks Sheila1. Dreading the whole process and being denied passage. If they are trying to stop people from travelling then they are (almost) succeeding. Desperate times. Desperate measures!!

Hi Bob

Can l just ask you said about the labels for Royal Mail does that mean for the day 2 & 8 tests we have to go out to post them? How will l be self isolating in this case?

Thank you
