We are hoping to sell up in the UK and move over to our apartment in La Tercia, San Javier. Area. I am a time served painter and hoping to pick up some work doing up villas ,apartments ect.
Any advice welcomed.

If you mean as a self employes person you need to look into the costs of being autonomo....look on Citizens Advice Bureau...CAB Spain....its very expensive....low to start but up to 350€ a month I believe.
Thanks I'll look into that. I have done lots of jobs for frends and family living in the area hoping to pick up from there. Getting to know paint types. As my own equipment is in Scotland I am hoping to start up over here.
