Hi All
I have Sky TV back home in the uk with a Sky Q box and viewing card and i pay for sports/movies etc,etc,.
In Spain i have a 1.1m Sat dish and a box showing basic UK TV channels.
If i brought out my Sky Q box and card next time i come out on holiday and connected them up would that work in Spain?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

As long as you have a strong dignal on you free to ait your sky box will work ok

You won't get much with a 1.1m dish. You need a 1.9m. Failing that Sky are advertising that you can legally receive all your regular channels in Europe on any portable device.

Thanks but what portable devises are you talking about?
I have an Apple mac laptop that we use to catch up on our emails and browse the web etc when we are in Spain but i haven't got the internet in my place in Spain either?
I was hoping that my dish would have given me more of a choice in Spain than the few channels we currently get on freeview?

Check with other Brits in your area. Around Los Urrutias folks are using 1.1m and even smaller dishes!
Best solution is internet with huge mbs thru fibre optics.

I watch all my subscribed Sky channels on Sky Go through the internet on my tablet.
Ok you can't watch it on your tv but I don't have the hassle and expense of putting up a satellite dish.
