Saw this posted on El Pais for those of us living here with private health care, outside the Spanish Health system..

I followed the link for Murcia and have now registered my details online for the vaccination programme. :)

When you get offered an appointment, you apparently have to take your private health care insurance document and proof of identity.

Hope this helps those who have posted previously.

We know that some of you are concerned about how you will be able to get the Covid-19 vaccine in Spain - particularly those of you who don't receive state healthcare.

The Spanish government has been very clear that they will provide the vaccine to everyone in Spain as a matter of public health, regardless of nationality or how you access healthcare in Spain. If you are already registered for state healthcare you will be contacted by your regional health service to make an appointment when it is your turn to be vaccinated.

Because Spain operates its health system regionally, the way people access the vaccine will differ depending on where you live.

We have received the following information from the Spanish regional healthcare authorities for those who are not registered for state healthcare and we continue to seek information for all regions. Please be aware that this is information from the Spanish authorities and is subject to change.

• Andalusia: You can register for the vaccine here:  https://www.sspa.juntadeandalucia.es/…/alta-en-bdu-para-vac… . More information is available at:  https://www.andavac.es/campanas/covid/
• Andorra: For information see:  https://www.govern.ad/preinscripcio/
• Balearic Islands: To register for the vaccine, please call 971 211 999. For more information see:  https://www.ibsalut.es/vacuna-covid-19
• Catalonia: If you are already registered on the padrón, you can apply online here:  https: //catsalut.gencat .cat /… / programes-interes-sanitari-d… /
• Murcía: You can register online for the vaccine here:  https://portalsalud.carm.es/portalsalud/principal/inicio…  or call: 900121212
• Valencia Region (Valencian Community): You will need to go to your local health center to register. You will be given a provisional health card to cover the vaccination and any other public health needs.

The Spanish authorities are asking insurance companies to coordinate with regional health services in order to provide vaccines to their customers. UK nationals living in Spain with private insurance, who do not live in the areas listed in this post, can contact their local health center or private insurance company for more information.

The full Spanish government vaccination strategy is available here:  https://www.vacunacovid.gob.es

Do we know how long we have to wait  after registering?

No idea I'm afraid. It depends on age. They were texting people between 50 and 60 last week.

Hi, I have followed the link and filled in the form for both myself and my partner, all seemed quite simple.  However I expected some acknowledgement of receipt or something but I have received nothing as yet has anyone else received acknowledgement as panicking now I haven't filled in correctly?  thanks.

Hi

When you filled it out the next page you could down load and save and it gives you details of vaccine stations.

Next week those born in years 56 57 and 58 are being asked to go to the sports centre in mazarron on Tuesday. You should get a text. If not just turn up with id and proof health care

Hi thanks for your reply, after saving it didn’t go to another page on either of our applications but I have gone back onto the site today and it says our NIE numbers are already registered so can only presume it sent!

...ctly?  thanks.

Hi

I had the same thoughts as didn't receive an email acknowledgement either, however when I tried to re-enter my details, I got a message stating that details were already held and could not be re-entered.

Give it a try, as may put your mind at ease.
