Should i stay in La Manga club?

What to do? We have been in La Manga club since 2016 in a 3 bed villa and really love the place. Its safe and secure, has great facilities etc.  My wife and I are in our middle 60's, retired. Son and daughter in their 40's with spouses who all like the club. We rarely go all together,  mostly on our own except special occasions. We go there 3 times per year for 3 weeks at a time but plan for much longer in coming years.

Here's my issue. Fees are expensive and after renting out to offset cost since purchase have decided that we will no longer rent out our house. We can afford not to rent it out but its a grudge for me. 

My daughter is unhappy we are even thinking of moving. 

My son has no issue either way but if we we do move recommends La Torre as we could buy a 2/3 bed with private pool with sale of villa (his wife has relatives there who rate it very highly) My wife is only thinking of La Torre and if she doesnt like the place we stay in the club.

My take is to check la Torre of course but spread out and check other places as well. I feel there is so much lovely friendly places that would suit us around the Mar Menor. 

Would anyone care to give some feedback on other areas we can check out? (If i can drag the good lady to go)
