Seems a bit silly that you have to go into a branch to get the code.

But that's the Spanish for you, they just love making you go into a branch or an office.

Why not just open a Wise.com euro account & pay all your DD from there ??

You don't actually need a Spanish bank account nowadays.

If you are concerned about moving your DD ask your solicitor to do it for you.

Hi,  do not let your account go into the red,  if you get your services cut off you may have to pay re connection charges.

Best thing to do is pay some extra money by bank transfer from your UK online bank,  you will still be able to

transfer from your UK bank,  or send a English cheque.

We had the same had to call in bank when in Spain and get a code,are they having  a laugh, unbelivable.And whatever you do do not try to access internet banking and put tong wrong details in 3 times or back to spain you go. I dread going to online banking
