Looking at the situation at la terraces you could be the only person to post or read it think the take up was bad and  the closure of various facilities have made it worse hopefully there has been an up surge in purchases but the last time we looked places were so cheap and still could not move them

As an owner on LTDT it is disappointing to read the negative comments from someone who l assume doesn’t live or own on the complex. Properties are and have been selling well throughout COVID but one of the reasons for the vacant apartments is that Sarab Bank owns many of the properties and only realise X amount for sell at a time, so the number of apartments available for sale are limited by them. On the negative side the retail units have not been let and the club house is currently not open, much to the disappointment of the residents. However, on the positive the reasonably high volume of recent sales has meant that the management company have ample funds to maintain the upkeep of the resort. Therefore it maybe true that outside of high season the resort may seem quite (although La Torre Golf resort is right on the doorstep with all their facilities available) nevertheless from our perspective this means that we have an apartment on a well maintained secure resort which provides a peaceful base from which the major towns and beaches of the region are readily accessible. For the price of the apartments on LTDT compared to elsewhere it’s a no brainer.

I agree with you, we have just recently bought on Las Terrazas and with the prices from the bank it was definitely a no brainier! We can’t wait to come out to our new apartment. Yes things are currently closed on site but the more people that buy there this can only improve things. The site is well kept and safe and a great base for exploring this part of Spain. We jumped at the chance to buy there.

Hi Me and my wife had a drive round the estate last Friday as we were on holiday in Torrevieja.

We had seen some cheap properties for sale and were curious as to whether they were located on a depressed area with half built constructions as I had read they were.

I was amazed, the security guard at the entrance gate was both polite and helpful and allowed us to have a drive around the estate to look for ourselves. It looks absolutely beautiful, the landscaping and the cleanliness of the paths and roads put me in mind of an upmarket estate in Florida.

There seemed to be a pool area between each couple of blocks, with what appeared to be kiddies pools built into them. There was ample parking, the roads were well lit and I liked the fact there are security cameras on fixed poles observing the parking areas. There was a large SPAR supermarket there and what appeared to be a restaurant, could see the supermarket was open but didn’t check the restaurant.

While we were there, a security patrol car was driving slowly around on patrol putting us more at ease.

We have come away from our visit not only pleasantly surprised but determined to either buy a holiday home or permanently retire there.

All I can say is I feel jealous of the folks that have found their oasis’s and hopefully we will soon.
