Hi I have an older type property so not well insulated,

I like you, I am not a fan of either air-conditioning both in summer and winter.

What we use for heating is Fibre panels have one in the lounge and in each of the bedrooms bathroom Quartz 2 bar wall heater.

The fibre panels are 425W each and  have timers and temperature controls, they were purchased from Leroy Merlin and were about 70 euros each the wall heater again Leroy about 12 euros.  prices may differ now as purchase a couple of years ago but very satisfied.

This link is the panels hope it is some use to you.

Also very economical to run
