We applied for our residencia before Christmas in Murcia, does anyone know how long the process is taking before you hear anything? Thanks Linda

Hi Linda - we applied for ours in December - still not heard, website states still in process, Apparently process can take 3 to 4 months, Murcia region is slow; I've heard residents to be have been waiting since September. The downside for me is had to come back to UK to finalise things, now I'm stuck in the UK, I know I'm not the only one who can't get back until restrictions are lifted.

Hi thanks for that. We were lucky, we came back on the 5/1 and they accepted the receipt saying our application was in the process. Don’t know whether that is still the case. Thanks again

Hi Linda

Mine went in on 5th September. I got notification 3 weeks ago that it had been successful, so approximately 4 months. (friends have had similar)

I went to get my fingerprints taken today and have been told it will likely take another 6-8 weeks before I actually get my TIE.

We applied in August and application was accepted. We we had our finger prints done in September and cards were ready to be picked up in November.

Thanks so much for your response, very helpful to know approximately how long the process is taking.

Hi Linda,

We applied for ours at the beginning of September.   We finally got our appointment with the Oficina de Estrangers (sp) in January.and go back to collect our TUEs some time in March.   So yes, a looooong process.

My appointment was for 9am, hubby's for 11;15am.   We log into the system together at 8:55 and went in together.  The officer was quite happy to see to both applications & do finger printing for both of us at the same time.
