Switching providers
Hi we were wondering how easy or how difficult it is to change providers, heard on local radio stations regarding changes.
Thank you Nin
Hi Nina,
We switched to Energy Nordic earlier this year and it was very easy. We just contacted them (they can answer in about 5 languages) and they did the rest. We're on the night and day tariff and it's definitely cheaper than Iberdrola.
Hope that helps.

Have a look at iberswitch they will search constantly for the best deal and switch you for no cost.
Sometimes Spanish electricity suppliers get in wrong or something goes wrong and unless you understand Spanish and their ways they can be difficult to deal with, particularly the big guys.
There are surprisingly in excess of over 100 suppliers in Spain, iberswitch search them all on your behalf.
Best of all they act as a buffer between you and the electricity supplier.
Check out their website.

I can only advise against Energy Nordic after my experience with them.
Firstly they charge a deposit (why????), they charge a monthly fee for their better rate and they fix you into a contract so if you want to leave you cant.
The online account they provide is useless and gives no information about the daily consumption and there is no app for the phone which is important as it is handy to monitor the usage when you are not home.
I have lived in Spain for over 7 years and have never heard of any company charging a deposit.
Iberswitch charge you too, why pay for a service that you can do yourself.
Most of the established suppliers in Spain provide a service in English so you should not have difficulties. Once you understand your bill and what you need to be aware of, you have plenty of choice with the established suppliers.
My advise is to look to compare the best deals online.
