Many thanks. We have found a local vet called Castelar in San Pedro del Pinatar and they also advised protection from leishmaniosis (mosquito virus) and had him injected during his visit. Also got the sandfly collar and flee and tick treatment so now well protected. Bumped into some of their clients in the surgery who highly recommended them and for cost too. I've put details in as may help others.
