So someone wants to sell their house: they will have to pay 5%+ commission (anyone tell me an agent charging less?), the agent knows houses are not selling so they value the house down to make a sale easier, the buyer offers an insulting price, and the seller cannot afford to sell for that, as their next house will cost around 12-14% in taxes and fees on top of the asking price….
