I'm in santiago de la ribera. If anyone wants me to check on their house in la ribera or lo pagan? We have been extremely lucky in our street, but residents in surrounding streets have not been so lucky. Saw people removing muddy furniture from their houses yesterday. So sad. The beach has disappeared under muddy water. We were almost knocked over by a runaway communal bin that was swept away by the floods. I've seen storms here before but nothing like this. I would never use an underground car park here. My neighbour lost his brand new car in an underground carpark when it was flooded a few years ago.
Thank you up date. We are in residential la piñada on beach front near hotel nuptune.

I don't think it's too bad there. Going that way this evening. Will double check for you

Mate,
I have just been down Lo Pagan, if you can let me know just where I can give u a better update. Basically i walked from the kids park at Santiago de Ribiero to the windmill at the salt flats. Ribeiro is a disaster area and tens if volunteers are helping clean up but its a horrible mess. As u walk along towards the hotel neptuno is gets gradually better. From thr marina down to windmill there is actually very little signs of damage altho it is clear garages have flooded but houses and flats do not appear to have the horrible brown red mud of elsewhere.
Hope this helps and good luck
